Description
Babbhion is a class M exoplanet that closely circles a dim red dwarf star. The result is a planet that has liquid water, plenty of sunlight (dominated by red wavelengths), a temperate climate, and large temperate rain forests with intriguing rose, violet, and blue foliage in the vast canopies where intelligent primates make their homes. This fictional planet may be as close as 40 light years from Earth (based on a 2-23-17 NASA report of a 7-planet system with 2 or 3 comfortably habitable Earth-sized worlds closely orbiting an ultra cool red dwarf star). This fractal abstract is a stylized portrayal of a fictional rain forest canopy of pastel foliage on a planet much like Trappist 1e or Trappist 1f discovered in the constellation Aquarius.
This piece is a lovely pastel abstract suitable for home or office. It would make a lovely gift for that budding exoplanet enthusiast or astronomer in your house.
