Description
If there was any doubt, it is gone now. The congressionally mandated report on global warming and climate change was released this week (11-23-18) and the bad news is worse than thought. Additionally, ocean warming from greenhouse gases is increasing far faster than previously estimated and the effect is likely to mean quickly worsening climate effects.
This stylized portrayal of the effects of global warming on our biosphere is shown in this fractal abstract. Brown is bad (example forest fires)...green is good. The good news is that the planet will survive this uneventfully...the bad news is things may not go as smoothly for mankind. We must work to slow down the progression of negative climate changes and perhaps in a few decades even reverse the adverse effects we bring to the planet.
This interesting piece of fractal art will hopefully be thought-provoking. Hopefully our kids will get the message and do a better job than we have done for the last 100 years.
Well ...enough proselytizing...buy this piece and be a proponent of positive climate change. The artist makes a promise to share 80% of the profits of wall art sales of this fractal abstract to the Environmental Defense Fund (www.edf.org).
