Artist's Description

Obatala is a Nigerian god of fertility, and is considered the sculptor of mankind. He is also often regarded as the force which shapes the fetus in the womb. The fractal abstract here represents the beginning of our cosmos , shaped by forces beyond our imagining. The orange, gold, and red palette coupled with wispiness of its flame-like fractal shapes are the reasons it belongs in both the "Into the Ether" gallery and the "Pyromania--Songs of Fractal Fire" gallery. This striking abstract will look good at home or at the office. Bound to be admired by both kids and adults.
