Young "incipient" rainbows can be so bright in their enthusiasm and happiness that they must be muzzled or "anchored" so their incandescent brightness will not blind the innocent. The richness and brilliance of their spectrum of colors makes them one of the most coveted wonders of "Nature's Magic".
Anchoring seems a prudent precaution to help them stay tethered and not wander off in the middle of the night and dazzle the crowds without even a sun or rain droplets. These young undisciplined rainbows will surf moonbeams to generate a show-stopping double rainbow on full moon nights. Now that is a sight to behold!! Fractal fun...fractal fun.
