The nationwide recall of Romaine lettuce due to possible contamination with E. coli O157:H7 in Fall 2018 was officially called off in Feb 2019. The FDA recommended that tracking measures be implemented to allow tracking of each head of lettuce "from farm to fork". Tracking tags are highly inexpensive at this time, and hopefully we will be able to identify contamination sites in days rather than many weeks.

Fractals! There is richness and wonder in endless repetition.
