A favorite color scheme with orange, green, red, and yellow was used on a dark blue background and "multicolor noise" was added to roughen the texture of the cells and add further character to the abstract.

Fractals! There is richness and wonder in endless repetition. The eye seems to hungrily seek out repeating patterns by instinct, while the mind assembles separate or even disparate pieces into a single cohesive whole.
