This fractal abstract portrays the unusual phenomenon Synesthesia, the unintended crossover of one sensory perception with another. The neuronal pathways are stylistically depicted in this conceptual fractal piece and the yellow flashes are "factual" sensory input at one set of neurons, with altered processing and recognition as a different sensory message perceived at a conscious level. On the other hand...this could just be another fractal image (or perhaps a fractal sound, or fractal taste).
