Artist's Description
A close up inspection of this mandala reveals 4-fold symmetry, rich braided spokes, and a lovely lace and brocade patterning to foreground and background. An adaptation of an original Morgan Fractals fractal abstract block, Corkscrew, designed specifically to create kaleidoscopically-derived mandala patterns. Medieval or celtic patterns and weaves comprise the base design, and a fall palette is employed. Lovely square design suitable for canvas, aluminum, or as a framed and matted wall hanging. Great for the office or home. See the Celtic Patterns gallery for similar designs to create a themed set of wall art pieces. Larger size reveals more design
