This fractal image is created through manipulation of an original fractal abstract or a portion of one. The manipulation typically involves an 8, 9, 10, 12,18,or 24-panel kaleidoscope through routine photographic software (e.g. Corel Paintshop 14 Pro)
This lovely kaleidoscopic image lends itself well to creating acyrylic coasters with cork or mahogany botttoms, and printing on 6x6 ceramic tiles that can be placed in a stand or hung on wall as wall art. Contact artist directly for these options.
Generally best suited for 4x4 to 16 x16 sized prints on aluminum, canvas, or paper.

Fractals! There is richness and wonder in endless repetition. The eye seems to hungrily seek out repeating patterns by instinct, while the mind assembles separate or even disparate pieces into a single cohesive whole. Fractal art spontaneously elicits a gratifying union of both processes. I create fractal art through a digital medium. I am drawn to making fractal images that evoke a sense of the familiar. The joy that comes from uncovering the “familiar” while transforming fractals can be intense, similar to the “eureka!” moment of an epiphany.
