Product Details

Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

Artist's Description

It is fortunate that we cannot read each other's minds. Outrageous and judgmental opinions remain carefully guarded in a safe and generally benign cloistered space that filters our actions and speech (mostly). Our self-righteous opinions are best left unexpressed, and a lifetime of impulsive statements with consequences have taught most of us to keep them guarded at almost any cost. This fractal abstract seems to express the carefully constructed cloistered space for suppressing self-righteous outbursts. This abstract is a lovely blend of pastel colors and geometry that will be an attention-getter at home or in the office.

Fractals! There is richness and wonder in endless repetition. The eye seems to hungrily seek out repeating patterns by instinct, while the mind assembles separate or even disparate pieces into a single cohesive whole. Fractal art spontaneously elicits a gratifying union of both processes. I create fractal art through a digital medium. I am drawn to making fractal images that evoke a sense of the familiar. The joy that comes from uncovering the “familiar” while transforming fractals can be intense, similar to the “eureka!” moment of an epiphany.
