Artist's Description
The space anomoly was uncovered by the Webb space telescope in Fall 2027. Halfway to the center of the Milky Way Galaxy, this pair of coupled wormholes was easily discovered.
Massive quantities of dark energy poured out of one wormhole, while the other acted as a siphon to our galaxy, sucking in ordinary matter and energy almost like a black hole. Ten times more dark energy was emitted from the emission wormhole when compared to the suction of ordinary matter and energy into the voracious maw of the suction wormhole.
Astrophysicists soon deduced that this enormous space structure was not natural, but was a construct of an advanced class IV civilization, long passed. It's function was to enable the creation of enormous quantities of dark energy and dark matter.
The benefits of such an undertaking remain unclear. It was soon found that our galaxy contained hundreds of these Engines of Creation
About Doug Morgan

Fractal art spontaneously elicits a gratifying union of both processes. I create fractal art through a digital medium. I am drawn to making fractal images that evoke a sense of the familiar. The joy that comes from uncovering the “familiar” while transforming fractals can be intense, similar to the “eureka!” moment of an epiphany. Many of my fractal designs are specifically created to mimic elements found in our daily lives. The most frequent themes of my work are candies, flora and fauna, machinery, and fanciful...
