The tear in the space time fabric, the gravitational grid surrounding all things, was small but significant. Matter was switching dimensions at an alarming rate, and the balance locally between routine matter and energy, and dark matter and energy was out of whack.
Repair mechanisms were implemented almost automatically and the tear began to mend itself quickly. The still surprising shimmering rainbow field that accompanies all space-time fabric repairs is glowing a comfortable orange with all colors visible to space telescopes.
