My parents instilled in me the notion that if one cannot identify a plant, it is safest to assume it is a weed. One can then spray it with the appropriate pesticide spray to stop the "weed" from taking over the entire yard or garden. Better safe than sorry...
This fractal abstract is certainly plant-like, but since I could not identify any likely look-alikes or the clever storyline, I decided we better call it a weed...just to play it safe. The green and yellow colors on black are quite striking, as are the geometric spiral arms of the tubular leaflets. The abstract will accommodate wall art prints as large as 40" x 72".

Fractals! There is richness and wonder in endless repetition. The eye seems to hungrily seek out repeating patterns by instinct, while the mind assembles separate or even disparate pieces into a single cohesive whole.
