This somewhat wild fractal abstract is a great mix of forms and a blue palette of colors. Organic character to several forms is evident in the abstract. Cropped to a 16x9 format from the original 16x20 format of Romaine's Revenge, and alternative color options of this print are also available (see Seventh Sojourn, and see Yellowspin). This intriguing fractal art will look good at home and at work.
About Doug Morgan
Fractals! There is richness and wonder in endless repetition. The eye seems to hungrily seek out repeating patterns by instinct, while the mind assembles separate or even disparate pieces into a single cohesive whole. Fractal art spontaneously elicits a gratifying union of both processes. I create fractal art through a digital medium. I am drawn to making fractal images that evoke a sense of the familiar. The joy that comes from uncovering the “familiar” while transforming fractals can be intense, similar to the “eureka!” moment of an epiphany.
