Description
A mysterious "communication" was picked up by an X-Ray imaging space telescope (Chandra). Not visible by light or radio telescopy, the unusually strong signal was initially dismissed as a fluke or a prank after further study revealed it was not from a magnetar or a pulsar, the usual sources of such intense X-ray spikes.
Further investigations by NASA experts and Chandra X-Ray Observatory specialists agreed upon a location of the X-ray source. The fictional location of the signal was exactly identified from coordinates that matched with 99.999% of certainty a newly discovered exoplanet found five years ago.
Even more exciting and perhaps a little worrisome was that the X-ray source was a coherent x-ray beam. This is impossible from a natural deep space X-Ray source. Further work with the x-ray findings revealed elements of a basic arithmetic and natural science primer, perhaps the beginnings of a true Encyclopedia Galactica. First contact at last!
And a whole lotta fictional fractal fun!! This image will accommodate wall art sizes up to 36" x 24". The soft colors and patterns are beautiful elements of this lovely fractal art.

Oh my gosh Doug! I LOVE this amazing digital fractal of yours! I think you could go into fictional writing as well! Let me know when your first book is out! Do you have any books out on your art or digital fractals? That would be awesome! Love your art! LF
